Medan City is the capital of the province of North Sumatra, Indonesia. The city is the third largest city in Indonesia after Jakarta and Surabaya, and the largest city outside Java. Medan City is the gateway to the western part of Indonesia in the presence of Belawan Port and Kuala Namu International Airport, which is the second largest airport in Indonesia.


Medan is the first city in Indonesia that integrates airports with trains. Bordering the Malacca Strait makes Medan a very important city of commerce, industry and business in Indonesia.

Arrive at Kuala Namu Airport, meet and greet then depart for Parapat – famous mountain and lake resort on the east shore of the immense volcanic Lake Toba, about 175 km away. En route, first hour pass by several small towns and then followed by vast view of rubber, oil palm plantations, paddy terraces, etc. Stopover at local dodol shops at Pasar Bengkel and local snack shops at Paten store in Pematang Siantar. Also visit the statue of Goddess of Mercy in temple in Siantar. Arrive in Parapat, check in hotel. Free program to enjoy hotel’s facilities. Dinner at hotel.
Optional : Can also stay overnight in Samosir Island if hotels in Parapat are full.
Arrive in Parapat, cross over to Samosir Island by public ferry. Check in hotel.

Day 2 : Parapat – Tour Lake Toba – Samosir Island ( B, L, D )

After breakfast start on Samosir Tour halfday by Boat. Cross over to Samosir Island, the island in the middle of Lake Toba in one hour boat ride. Visit the Tomb of King Sidabutar and Batak Toba Village at Tomok. Then to Ambarita, a traditional village with ancient megalithic furniture in front of the traditional house. Check in at your hotel in the island. Free program to enjoy the island either walking to nearby villages or just swimming on the lake. Dinner at hotel.

Day 3 : Samosir Island – Parapat - Brastagi ( B, L, D )

After breakfast transfer back to Parapat by public ferry then depart for Brastagi via the Ring Road of Lake Toba. En route pass by pine tree plantation, the magnificent scenery of Lake Toba, fertile vegetable and fruit farms. Visit the ancient King’s Palace of Simalungun at Pematang Purba.
Proceed to the slender Sipiso-piso Waterfall which drops into Lake Toba from hundred of meter height. Arrive in Brastagi, a refreshing mountain resort dominated by two active volcanoes. Visit the fruit market and check in hotel.

After breakfast tour visit the fruit and vegetables market of Brastagi. Depart for Medan via some part of the lush tropical rain forest of Sumatra in two-and-half-hour time. Visit Taman Lumbini, Golden Swedagon Pagoda. Continue for Medan via Sibolangit. Arrive in Medan, city tour of Medan. Visit the Our Lady of Good Health, Maria Annai Velangkani Catholic Church, the temple of East Mountain, a Chinese Temple with its unique characteristic and Maimoon Palace of old Deli Sultanate. Then visit home industry the making of passion fruit / maracuja syrup. Check in hotel.

Day 5 : Shopping & Transfer Out To Airport Kuala Namu ( B )

After breakfast drop off for shopping at Pajak Ikan Lama textile market and Central Market / Medan Mall if there is enough time. Free on own activities until time to be transferred to airport for departure.

1. Guests will depart with a minimum number of 2 guests.
2. For booking procedure, please make a deposit of 50% of tour fare as down payment and send us your ID card photo.
3. Itinerary may be changed due to circumstances beyond the Company’s control.
4. No booking has been made yet, price are subject to change.
5. Cancellation fees by guests in time:
    a. 15-30 days before departure is 50% of the tour price.
    b. 7-15 days before departure is 80% of the tour price.
    c. Less than 7 days before departure is 100% of the tour price.
6. In the case of Force Majeure / forced / natural disasters, riots, etc., the itinerary can be changed both the arrangement and the schedule without prior notice, this is for the benefit and safety of the entire Klix Tour & Travel group. In this case Klix Tour & Travel is not responsible for returning fees or money for services that have been paid but have not used, including the additional fees.
7. There is no return fee if the guest cancels for partial or the whole tour program that has been determined because of :
    a. Sickness
    b. Force majeure
    c. Third parties that cause guests cannot leave
8. Guests must follow the tour rule from Klix Tour & Travel.
