Vietnam is the easternmost country on the Indochina Peninsula. With an estimated 94.6 million inhabitants in 2016, it is the 15th most populous country in the world. Vietnam is bordered by China to the North, Laos and Cambodia to the West, part of Thailand to the southwest, and the Philippines, Malaysia and Indonesia across the South China Sea to the East and Southeast.
Ha Long Bay is an iconic Vietnamese landscape. Embarking on an overnight cruise though the azure waters is an experience like no other. Sunsets over the bay are magnificent and the mist rising off the waters adds an eerie, mysterious element to this geological wonder. It’s the number one tourist destination in Vietnam so it can be crammed during high season, but gazing at the limestone formations in the water is worth it.
Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam, is known for its centuries-old architecture and a rich culture with Southeast Asian, Chinese and French influences. At its heart is the chaotic Old Quarter, where the narrow streets are roughly arranged by trade. There are many little temples, including Bach Ma, honoring a legendary horse, plus Đồng Xuân Market, selling household goods and street food.
Upon arrival at Noi Bai International airport, meet by our representative and transfer to city central. take Hanoi city tour covering Ba Dinh Square, Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum & residence, One Pillar Pagoda and Temple of Literature (The 1st University of Vietnam ). Dinner in Restaurant. Overnight in Hanoi.
Depart Hanoi for Ha Long Bay approximately three hours away. En route we have a short stop at the Sao Do arts and crafts centre run by handicapped children.
Upon arrival at Ha Long Bay (approx. mid-day - Leave the noise of the city behind as we will board our junk cruise for a delicious lunch. After lunch we have the chance to explore some of the limestone caves dotted around the bay. Then our captain will find a secluded spot for swimming and sun bathing before dinner. Enjoy another feast for dinner and for the night owls, there is an option of night fishing.
Overnight on Cruise
Rising to the lapping waters of the bay we have time for an early morning dip followed by breakfast. This morning we continue to cruise around the bay to find more secluded areas to either swim or kayak in. The kayaks are lightweight and easy to use. All guests will be issued with water buoyancy vests and the junk will be near us at all times serving as a backup vessel. At midday we will return to the main harbor before transferring to our awaiting vehicle for a 3-hour journey back to Hanoi. We should be back in the capital at around 3 pm. Take cyclo/ electric car to visit Hoan Kiem Lake, Old Quarter, free for Shopping.
Dinner and Overnight in Hanoi.
After breakfast, Pick you up at 8.00am at hotel in Hanoi, then depart for NinhBinh city towards to the South of Hanoi, it takes about 2,5 hours to get there(130 km). Upon arrive Tam Coc grottoes, go ahead to take the Tam Coc boat trip for avoid busy hour, enjoy more quiet in Tam Coc (Halong bay inland) that we will enjoy the spectacular scenery while gliding along the river among rice paddies and ranges of limestone mountains. After 1,5 hour on boat, stop boat trip at Thai Vi temple for cycling around mountain & village, take beautiful time to enjoy local beauty. Have lunch at local restaurant.
PM: After lunch, visit Hoa Lu - The Ancient Capital and the remaining two temples of Dinh King & Le King. On nice day can hire up to the top of Ma Yen mountain for taking panorama view of Sao Khe river and Truong Yen village.
Back to Hanoi for Dinner & Overnight
After breakfast, free until the file for departure flight.
